    Hi all!
I?m part of a non-profit organization called ?Rosabella? (Italian for Welles?s ?Rosebud?) which specializes in encouraging and spreading cinema culture. ?Rosabella? is now in its 7th year of activity.
Recently, following several inputs from our environment, Rosabella decided to organize a 2-day event focussing on the Super 8mm film gauge: screenings, discussions and resources meant to cover as many as possible aspects related to the use of this medium we all share a strong interest in. So my partners asked me to assess how many people would be interested in this event which should take place around mid-December in Italy and will be organized so as to show as many works as possible made on or originated from Super 8. Ideally there will be three sections: one dealing with documentaries, another one dealing with works of fiction and the last one centered on experimentation (camera tests, emulsion/camera comparisons, incomplete works, trials and so on.. In fact anything that won?t fit in the first two categories).

Everyone?s help would be appreciated especially in order to gather information, links and connections with people normally involved in S/8: the main goal is to watch our achievements altogether, but also to establish a convenient atmosphere to discuss topics about S/8, share opinions, information etc.
What we are looking for are mainly works either shot and completed on film or shot on film and post produced electronically (PAL TV System only, please).

Guests of course will be welcome and both free accommodation and meals will be provided for them, in the sunny city of Pescara, on the central part of Italy?s Eastern coast (the exact dates will be notified as soon as we have a definite plan for this event).

So please send in as many works as possible: the sooner we have a sufficient amount of material, the sooner we can arrange a definite structure for this event. Needless to say all camera originals will be returned after the end of the exhibit.

Thanks in advance to all of you.

    Sounds interesting.
What is the cut-off date for submission?
Is there an address to send stuff to?
